Skoda Octavia Hatchback (2013 - 2020) SE L 1.5 TSI 150PS ACT DSG auto 5d Owner Review

The car is well made and performs well. This is the 1.5 litre petrol; version with a DSG gearbox and is very economical with a good performance. Very roomy, with a large boot. This is my third Octavia, and I've been happy with all three. The only problem was tarnishing to the front chrome strip, which does not feature on all the models. This was eventually replaced, but the service from this particular local dealer was appalling. Skoda UK were very helpful in resolving the problem. A small downside is that prices of Octavias have crept up over the years, and they are no longer the exceptional bargains they once where. However, in my opinion still better value than the Golf they are based on.
