Skoda Octavia Hatchback (2013 - 2020) SE L 2.0 TDI SCR 150PS DSG auto 5d Owner Review

Somewhat against popular opinion I chose the 2.0 diesel version because of the much higher torque than the petrol equivalent (useful when allied to a DSG gearbox). Definitely made the right choice! Considered an estate but found the hatchback to be very spacious. Local dealer sales service is very good. Looking at 'total cost of ownership' it's difficult to find a car with the space, comfort, performance and refinement that would offer a more competitive option. Having owned the car for only eight months I don't yet have experience of the Skoda service department but am highly satisfied with the car. Would recommend.
