Skoda Octavia Scout (2007 - 2012) 1.8 TSI Scout 4x4 5d Owner Review

Bought this car new in 2010 and have since covered just 42,000 miles. In that time it has had the brake disks replaced due to glazing at three years, surprise surprise, just out of warranty and now Haldex four wheel drive system has failed. Had major service just 2000 miles before but the system is not checked on any service. Skoda say it is a pump failure but no pumps are available for 7 to 10 days! I loved the car once but it's unreliability has killed that and Skoda's disinterest has put me off for life. On a more minor note, I have never had to change a standard bulb but the door mirror repeater has now failed which is LED at a cost of £20 (not fitted!) Never again!
