Economy
Value
At just £15k, it's a lot of car for the cash and its decently equipped and well made.
Costs
Steepish insurance, but for the performance, it is understandable. Fuel economy is superb, returning 36mpg+.

On the road
Driving
For the money, the vRS is a superb drive, with safe handling and decent dynamics.
Performance
For the money, you aren't going to find better pace. Seriously, this car can tango with 330i Beemers, and I managed to obliterate a CLK 320 at the lights once.

Living with it
Reliability
Machanically, nothing major has occurred in the 85000 miles I've driven it.
Image
Skodas are now starting to get the respect they deserve. The vRS is subtle, understated and even a little sophisticated!
Comfort
Ride is surprisingly nice for such a sporty machine, and although interior space is average, all passengers can travel in comfort over distance.

Security and Service
Security
So far no problems, alarm works superbly.
Service
Helpful if you go to franchised dealers, greedy if you go through mere 'specialists'. But overall, pleasing service.
