It's the thinking mans performance choice!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Looks mean when it's in your rear view mirror and once they get over the "oh it's a skoda is it?!" think its good.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Without a doubt. Well engineered, trusty Volkswagen/Audi group engine, plenty of go, comparitively econmical....all things to all men.
What are you likely to buy next?
Perhaps newer Vrs, Mondeo St Tdci, 330i....not qute sure yet.

A good value alternative to the usual suspects.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good. It's not as involved as my previous focus but it has plenty of grip and really comes alive when pushing on the twisty bits.
What's it like to park?
Easy with parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only 2 minor issues. The first being the rear washwipe pipe somehow came loose so I had a wet boot for a couple of days. The second being a detached turbo pipe. Both issues fixed by the dealer (still under warranty) quickly and fingers crossed have not returned.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is huge and the fact it will seat 4 adults quite comfortably.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
My car was a dealer demo at first with elec sunroof, rear park sensors and cruise contol. The parking sensor are most helpful.
