Overview
The Octavia vRS put Skoda on the hot-hatchback map in 2001 with an estate model following in 2003. Sharing components with the Mk IV Volkswagen Golf, using Volkswagen Group’s 180bhp 1.8 turbo engine as well as the know-how of Skoda’s skilled chassis engineers the Octavia vRS turned out to be a high performance bargain and a thoroughly enjoyable drive.
