What does this car say about you?

I was naive enough to be convinced Skoda's are the same as VW's. The Golf we owned previously never let us down.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They jokingly mocked me when I ordered the car. Initially they were very impressed with the quality of the vehicle. Now they they're just smug.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Modern new cars should not break down. If they do, the manufacturer should do everything they can to rectify the problem. I would not touch a Skoda again.

What are you likely to buy next?

A VW, Honda or Toyota.

Fast, big boot and economic

What was the dealer like?

Very good. They let us take out as many cars as we liked and weren't pushy at all.

What's it like to drive?

I seem to remember it was great to drive.

Have you had any problems with the car?

In the 5 months we've had this car it's broken down twice and spent about a month in the garage. It's there now as it's started juddering when idling. There is a fault with the engine which Skoda are having difficulty rectifying. The engine randomly rev's off the meter and burns white smoke.

What's most practical about your car?

The estate has a huge boot.
