What does this car say about you?

You'd like to drive a Audi RS, but you've got kids and you don't care about badges.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They liked it at the start and were surprised at the drive and economy. Some of my friends made Skoda jokes but a drive changed that. It's a nice car to drive.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I'll never buy another Skoda, or for that matter VW, Audi or Seat. The reliability service, attitude has to be experienced to believe how bad it is.

What are you likely to buy next?

I'll go back to a BMW or maybe a Merc. The BMW I had before this Skoda was very reliable.

Did you get a good deal and why?

No, I was told Skoda had rumoured a 3k increase of the model that was due out in a months. It worked out to be a 3k decrease.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Good reliability reviews of preceding model, nice looking, fast, economical

What was the dealer like?

Very friendly when making a deal, no use whatsoever afterwards.

What's it like to drive?

It's a great drive

What's it like to park?

Difficult, if I was buying new I'd get the rear parking sensors. It has a big boot that overhangs the back wheels.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, manifold cracked had to replace 800 euro part, A/C compressor and radiator had to be replaced 1200, Traction Control sensor breakdown 1000, because the sensor is embedded in the ABS unit. The DPF light didn't come on, but I hear it's only a matter of time :(

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Probably the automatic rain sensing wipers, but I use the cruise control a lot.
