I got the car I wanted.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
To repace my Fabia VRS with a larger car
What was the dealer like?
Friendly but non negotiable. Nothing negative during the sale.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quick.. power comes in great big lumps (if you drive foot down). Bit trashy over bumps given the stiff sports suspension.
What's it like to park?
Difficult to judge the distance at the back. Think I am almost touching object at rear and when I get out.. there is over a meter of a gap.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. DPF light came on one evening and after following manaual on how to clear this, the engine management light came on and car went into Limp home mode. Skoda Assist replaced a exhaust temperature sensor. DPF light never went off. So dealer replaced the catalytic converter. Few weeks later engine management light came on, car kept going in and out of limp home mode. Took two more visits to dealer to repair the fault. (Over 2 month period). Engine cooling fan comes randomly on irrespective of heat. Ariel for radio not working. ABS module failed and cost ~£1000 to replace. Had to ask Skoda UK if they would assist and without to much effort they did contribute 40% . Dealer was not forth coming to assist with paying for the fault or even enquire on my behalf.
What's most practical about your car?
Space inside car.... large boot and effortless pulling power.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Traction control / EDL helped me in the snow where the Fabia VRS did struggle. Climate Control is nice.
