Good looking car that is both practical and economical.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No, the Diesel Particulate Filter is a nightmare, I have had the car from new and have only cover 20,000 miles. The dash board light for the filter comes on regularly even though it routinely makes long motorway journeys. I would avoid diesel engines like the plague with a DPF fitted. Skoda UK have disputed a warranty claim which they would not pay for oweing to the dubious durability of these filters. As a further point they really are not cheap parts to replace at over a £1000 for the part alone.

Space and Fuel economy

What was the dealer like?

Very helpful and friendly

What's it like to drive?

The handling is great but it does come at a cost. This is due to the suspension being designed for sportiness not comfort. So if you have kids that like to sleep in the car this is not the car for you.

What's it like to park?

The steering is light at slow speeds but the wife describe it as a bit agricultural.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I have had several niggley problem's ranging from a badly paint fuel cap to a rattley engine and faulty DPF.

What's most practical about your car?

The car has a large amount of rear legroom and the boot space is one of the biggest in it's class.
