Looks great but totally unreliable.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Never touch a Skoda again. 5 years I have owned the car it has been nothing but trouble. Skoda not interested with any faults apart, some good will on the CAT and ABS. Coils failed, caused the CAT to fail, Skoda admit it was a fault, the coils are now a recall. Brought car to last when we started a family. So far it has failed us every time, even when our baby was born in winter..it failed, Skoda never supplied courtesy cars, poor customer service. Spent fortunes on diagnostics and forever in the garage. The last straw is now, the engine light came on and it is misfiring, MAF sensor replaced and it broke down again the next day.

Yes, three hundred off and 12 months tax We flew to Scotland to buy it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
VRS, value for money, looks and performance.

What's it like to drive?
Fast, hold the road well and good when it works, now I have lost faith in the vehicle.
What's it like to park?
Easy with sensors but a tad bad vision at the rear as it is high.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
First service 21k - ECU not programming, throttle sensor, lots of faults in system, rear washer failed 1 year later - Coil pack failed at 75mph, blew main fuse and car died, very scary CAT failed at 22k 2 weeks after coil pack was replaced. ABS module failed. Air conditioning compressor failed Coils replaced again. Rear washer again. MAF sensor failed Now misfire on cylinder 3!!!!! arrrggghhhh Only 34k - what a joke and Skoda UK are not interested after warranty expired. Vehicle has full dealer service history up to sixty thousand mile service.

Boot is massive.
