What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Wife thinks its another powerful car, friends like it, a few jokes about the badge (albeit in a post-ironic way).
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, the Mk3 VRS looks nice. The next one is getting more kit as standard. I'd buy a 2 year old one again though, the new price is still a little high.
What are you likely to buy next?
Same again, or BMW F10 5 series if finance allowed.

Did you get a good deal and why?
It had just been reduced, and the dealer drove up from Birmingham for the test drive and the delivery.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted performance, value, needed 4/5 doors and decent boot.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very quick, power is always there. DSG box performs well. Cruise is handy, ride is firm but not boneshakingly so. Handles okay.
What's it like to park?
Great with rear sensors, I wouldn't get a car without these days.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Had an engine management light come on, fixed with a ECU reset under warranty. Having issues with the Bolero (stereo) and retrofitting Bluetooth, so they'll have to look at that too.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot, it fits everything. You don't need an estate, you need an Octavia VRS hatch.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Parking sensors, DSG box, climate, cruise.
