Skoda Octavia vRS (2013 - 2017) 2.0 TDI CR vRS Estate 5d Owner Review

I bought this car just under three years old as previous car (Alfa 159 ti) was up to 130k miles and needed something newer. I needed a car that ticked a lot of boxes I.E fast, reliable, spacious, well equipped, cheap to run and within my price range. The Octavian vrs estate did all this and more. The boot and rear seat space is fantastic and the satnav is clear and intuitive. The best benefit for me is the cost of running. Provided you go for the manual gearbox with the Diesel engine it is only £30 a year to tax and I am seeing over 50mpg on average. Considering the reasonably meaty performance on offer this is a great compromise. The vrs comes well equipped and is a nice place to be I would recommend this car in an instant, I was unsure at first as the brand has a certain stigma from years gone by however once you look past this you realise the quality of the car.
