Skoda Octavia vRS (2013 - 2017) 2.0 TSI vRS Hatchback 5d Owner Review

I've owned about 27 used cars, mainly diesels, over the 27 years. From Mondeos, Vectras, BMWs, even people carriers. I don't profess to be an expert but all the cars I've had have had numerous problems, pretty much from day one, although all were quite a few years old. My friend had been pestering me for years...".get an octavia". I finally gave in and got a 2011 octavia 1,4tsi...lovely but not quick enough.... so got a 2011 1.8tsi..fast but engine drank oil!!! Finally went for 2016 2.0 tsi VRS 220......WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS YEARS AGO........What a car, 36mpg average and believe me...I'm using the VRS bit a lot. No issues at all...and quick....oh my goodness its ridiculous. Very easy to drive and comfortable for every day use. Even at 6 years old and 70,000 miles its like having a brand new car. Can't see past it. My friends 2022 Hyundai i30n with300bhp ( £35,000 ), cant get away from me...hehe...he actually prefers my vrs.
