Skoda Superb Hatchback (2015 - 2023) SE L Executive 1.5 TSI ACT 150PS DSG auto 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
I went from a Mercedes C207E400 to a Skoda Superb 1.5 TSI !
The build quality of my Skoda runs the Mercedes very close and in certain areas is better.Comment has been made that the car is underpowered but unless you want to get from A to B in the shortest possible time I don't find performance an issue. The car has a compliant ride ( with Michelin Primacy 4 tyres ) and drives easily and is comfortable. The internal space is vast with leather seats and the drivers adjustable seating again in my case producing the perfect driving position. As it's party trick the boot is huge. Its a large family hatchback and really does need the parking sensors. My car has 18" alloy wheels and a proper spare tyre / wheel / plus the liquid spare tyre ! Please remember premium18" tyres are reasonably expensive to replace.I find dealer serving costs are reasonable but please remember that this car should use E5 petrol to obtain best results and keeps the engine internally cleaner. As other have said using the name Superb is risky and the infotainment system could be better. I only drive 5000 miles per year and don't generally drive at night but I find the headlights could be better ( I am comparing the head lights on my car to my previous Mercedes that used the Intelligent Lighting systems plus extras ) that could be an unfair comparison.
To conclude if you are looking for a new large car I would really suggest that you test drive a Skoda Superb Series 3.Could I suggest that you write down the extras / standard toys / requirements you need.
