Skoda Superb 1.9 TDI PD Comfort (130bhp) 4d (2003/52) Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
-
Economy
Value
A lot of car for the money - a quiet bargain
Costs
Fuel consumption is good, and only warranty work so far
-
On the road
Driving
Pretty good, but the tyres tramline and tug on the streeing badly if the road is not smooth - this may be purely a tyre fault - not the car - will try new tyres soon
Performance
Very quick once you hit the torque curve - a bit sluggish until then
-
Living with it
Reliability
Bit of a let down - Fuel temp sender caused huge diesel leak, Rattly air box pipe, big water leak from pollen filter area - could float a rubber duck in the footwell, boot lid stiff - gas struts or link I am not sure
Image
A bit unsure about the badge, but it certainly looks an imposing site on the M/way
Comfort
My kids love it - and the back is so big they can't kick my seat when I am driving it!
