Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I think about what I buy and am an active type of person. I have added stainless steel mirror covers and burr walnut dash trim, So I suppose that makes me an anorak!! Note the chosen reg number.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all love it. My petrol head Lotus racing son was amazed at the performance.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely YES! I have owned 68 cars in my life including 3 top end Saabs, Mercedes etc. This is without any doubt the BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED! Build quality is, I would say, better than Mercedes.
What are you likely to buy next?
Need you ask? Another Yeti. Or at my age I might just hang on to this one until I go toes up!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes

£18,000
When did you buy the car?
September 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
I part X'd my Fabia Elegance Estate at 9 months old that I had bought from same dealer. They gave me an excellent deal and delivery of Yeti in 3 weeks to my required spec.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Always wanted one.
What was the dealer like?
Absolutely first class. I have now bought two new Skodas from them although they are 20 miles from me.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives very well, amazing performance from the little 1.2 DSG transmission (a bit slower than the Fabia with same set up, but then it weighs a lot more and is shaped like a (very good looking) brick). Road holding, ride comfort, wind noise (or lack of) all excellent.
What's it like to park?
With the reverse beepers and square rear ....a doddle.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Absolutely NOTHING!
What's most practical about your car?
Brilliant load carrier, sliding and removal rear sets are superb.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Sat Nav/Bluetooth.
