Skoda Yeti (2009 - 2017) 1.6 TDI CR Elegance GreenLine II 5d Owner Review

I spent a long time looking for a safe car, suitable for a growing family, with a high spec, great fuel economy and cheap to run. The Yeti ticked all of my boxes. My yeti greenline elegance is fun to drive, very economical with fuel and very cheap to insure (generally under £200 fully comp a year). It literally never lets me down, starts reliably and has never had a nasty bill, just general bits you would expect as part of normal ownership. It doesn’t eat tyres, and at £30 a year road tax, I never get a nasty bill I can’t afford. I trust in the safety for my family, and enjoy the luxury interior of the elegance. My car is coming close to its 10th birthday and the paintwork and interior still look fresh. My yeti is called Yogi, he’s the best car I’ve ever owned and I will be keeping him until he dies on me…. Which is hopefully a long way off. I literally can’t praise the yeti enough, shame on Skoda for not building them anymore!
