Friends are suprised I am getting nearly 60mpg (in warmer months, this is less so in the colder months) as I drive it quite hard .
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would, maybe the 170 Tdi 4X4 next?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Seems to have a fair bit of diesel grunt. Easy to drive on the motorway and its a blast on country roads as it sticks like glue to the road.
What's it like to park?
Really easy to park as it's not much longer than a golf. People are amazed about how tight the turning circle is.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Seems to have small corrosion near wheel arch. Skoda should have fitted protective coverings here but seem slow at responding to this.
What's most practical about your car?
Being only FWD the ground clearence comes in handy as we often drive up a rough farm track. The boot is a fair size, square shaped. Sitting higher up is a big bonus visually and also much easier to enter and exit.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bolero radio, I have an 8GB SD card with plenty of music on. Also really like the cruise control.
