What does this car say about you?
I am a fun kind of person who doesnot take life too seriously.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My mother has never driven the car and has no intentions of doing so. She likes the car but still pulls my leg saying where is my remote control for it. The first thing friends say when they sit inside the car for the first time is how roomy iy is.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Without a doubt i would buy another Smart Cdi or similar Smart because of its excellent fuel economy,zero tax and plastic pannels which can be changed when the mood takes you. Ive already bought two new Metallic Silver door pannels for it and will put them on next year. Smart ownership has surpassed my expectations and even though they are getting quite expensive i would definately get another.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Smart if they are still produced. Having owned other vehicles all with metal body pannels and knowing the big cost of repairing them and respraying them plastic pannels make so much sense.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I bought the car through an internet dealer who regularly buys several Smarts a month off the main Stockton on Tees Mercedes dealership and i saved just over £1100 off the list price of a new Passion Cdi
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
To replace a Citroen C1 diesel and having always wanted a Smart ForTwo CDi since Jan 2000
What was the dealer like?
Superb and very freindly. My little Black & Silver car was parked in the main showroom and even had plastic seatcovers on the car. The fact that another person was buying the car on my behalf and saving me a fortune in the process didnot seem to worry the salesman one little bit. He even threw in a set of new Smart velour mats and a liter of Mobil 1 top up oil for the car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Ive owned quite a few cars over the years but none give the enjoyment and fun factor like driving my little Smart. Unless your a committed Smart fan like myself its very difficult to explain to another driver on what driving a Smart on a daily basis is like.
What's it like to park?
Not so easy because i have fitted a rather expensive set of Kahn alloy wheels to it and i am ever so frightened to get too close to the kurb unless i damage them.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The Turbo Pressure unit needed replacing under warranty but this was done quickly and efficiently in under a week with the part being sourced from Germany.
What's most practical about your car?
Interior space and driveability especially through large cities where the automatic function really comes into play.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
My Brabus gearnob which cost an apsolute fortune but looks and feels a quality item and makes the driving experience more pleasureable.
