What does this car say about you?
These cars are very eye-catching and individual looking. There's not many around which is something I like about it. Very quirky.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The majority of people were very complementary about it and it generally attracted a lot of attention (for the right reasons, I hope)!
Would you buy this car again and why?
After having two of them, for all their quirks and leaks, I have to say I'd still have another if the right one came along. Probably best owned as a second car rather than a main all-year-round vehicle.
What are you likely to buy next?
BMW Z4.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Mercedes Benz refused to budge on price so I paid the price on the screen.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Having owned a Smart Roadster Coupe for 5 years previously, I decided to upgrade to the Roadster Brabus.
What was the dealer like?
Purchased from my local Mercedes Benz dealer but I was disappointed with the service I received from them.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent, very easy to drive. Being semi-automatic, you have the option of fully automatic or manual. Much more responsive in manual mode. Good on motorways, can sit comfortably at 80mph, but perhaps nicer on smaller country roads.
What's it like to park?
Being so small, very easy to park. Light steering.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Like most Smart Roadsters, I had problems with it letting in rainwater. This is the main problem with all Smart Roadsters.
What's most practical about your car?
There's not much that's practical about a Smart Roadster! They're tiny with very little luggage space but you don't buy them for their practicality.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Folding roof which operated at any speed. Heated seats and a great heater generally.
