This is a car which 'does what it says on badge' FORESTER,! If you need convincing forget the journos and look at the Russians playing with them on Utube, also the American car club comparisons. I bought it to get up a 30Degree driveway and be able to respond to urgent medical callouts for Bloodbikes. It's a vehicle not a car, it does a job but is comfortable, it has sufficient power, weight and strength to take knocks and keep going. Above all I know is if it starts it will get me there, it has brilliant traction and drive, perfect balance and C of G, traction control and a low range gearbox. There's nothing I've found it can't do. Don't expect a panel full of gizmos and masses of things to set, the Forester puts you in charge and leaves you to drive - thank goodness it's great fun!
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Don't buy this as an 'ordinary' SUV, it's not, since the breeding is Impreza and the family history is 4x4, if you want a workhorse which has impeccable manners and will get you there in all conditions, can pull a train and hold a party then buy! No frills and no bills!About their car
