It's comfortable, solid, safe, sure-footed, great in bad weather, has proper ground clearance and non-asphalt capability. Not very frugal. Plenty of tech, but some of the safety tech can be intrusive and annoying at times. It's sluggish and leans on the corners but you don't want to throw a Forester about in B-roads anyway. If you want a relaxed ride no matter what the weather/road conditions are, a huge backseat space, great headroom and the best visibility out there this is your ride.
