Subaru Impreza Estate 1.6 GL 4WD 5d (1998/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Wasn't cheap compared to similar models but holds value well.
Costs
Fuel consumption good but servicing can be quite expensive.
-
On the road
Driving
Great car to drive has its big brother chassis and holds the road well.
Performance
For a 1.6 its very sprite but its light body shell does not inspire hard driving.
-
Living with it
Reliability
No major problems so far passed first MOT easily with no extra maintainence required, the car has refused to start twice on very damp days.
Image
Not quite as eye catching as its more muscular brothers, but not an eyesore either.
Comfort
Seats could improved with additional padding.
-
Security and Service
Security
A heavy chain adds to the safety factor.
Service
Can't fault the level of service given.
