Subaru Impreza Estate Turbo 2000 4WD 5d (2001/51) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Due to sales of new version, this model has depreciated, but it is worth the money if you find one that has been treated well, stay away from chipped ones.
Costs
Expensive, excessive fuel costs if driving in town, motorways ok, but really struggle to get 22-26 mpg from this firecracker.

On the road
Driving
Forget BMW for ultimate driving machine, value, performance, looks that tell other drivers in their rear view mirror to pull aside, this car is aggressive.
Performance
0-60 in under 6 secs… need I say more from a 4wd no wheel spinning performance car...+ 145mph where possible i.e. M74 Carlisle to Glasgow.

Living with it
Reliability
Have you ever seen one broken down by the side of a road, nope i didn't think so either! Japenese buzz machines, not British rust buckets.
Image
Wolf has shown it's claws and teeth, watch out for it's bite, it'll rip BMW's 330ci's.
Comfort
Bucket seats very comfy, good accomodation for 4 adults and 2 dogs.

Security and Service
Security
Very secure, however immobiliser and alarm on keypads tend to go out of synch, need to get them re-pointed to start car over.
