Economy
Value
The price for a new one no, but the 'classic' is becoming more and more affordable, it's only the insurance that stings ya!
Costs
Nothing out of the ordinary. It's japanese so it's pretty much bullet proof. Being an import servicing can be tricky, oh incase anyone else hasn't mentioned fuel - it seriously drinks it! expect 50 miles out of a tenner!

On the road
Driving
Can understeer if you push it real hard dry or wet almost like a front wheel drive car
Performance
FACT: It'll knock the socks off a UK model & for mod heads, its got a much better box, so can be pushed a fair bit more too. Not to mention they come with more spec anyways

Living with it
Reliability
Like I said earlier its Japanese. Other than the silly little niggle its fine. Slight flaking of the paint on things like the skirts and rear spoiler, but a car over ten years old with 70,000miles I'm not complaining
Image
Becoming a little commen, but a fantastic car none the less, of course it'll turn heads & they sound great with a better back 'box
Comfort
Through the lanes, town & having a blast its fine but its not a motorway car!

Security and Service
Security
Std is pants, fit a descent alarm and tracker. I have, it drops your insurance and makes you sleep better at night!
Service
Never taken it to a direct dealer, but most garages will service without a fuss

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Bulletproof as long as you dont tune them too much, I've heard they get a little weak after the 350bhp mark
Other
Orig. Downpipes rotted, but most people put a full system on it anyway so this wasn't a problem. Think there made out of putter, don't dink it 'cos it'll near on fold. Light, but not strong. Clutch is quite stiff & mines a little sticky.
