Economy
Value
Great price/performance ratio.
Costs
Low depreciation as image is strong. Servicing costs are good for this class of car (4WD and a turbo). Bridgestones are not expensive and need replacing every 20k miles or so.

On the road
Driving
Nice chassis, superb handling and grip for the money, and gives great feedback through the steering wheel.
Performance
Lot's of power and torque. It's a B-road barnstormer.

Living with it
Reliability
Rock solid. 80k miles with no problems and my first brake change was at 70k, so beware of 2nd hand cars with brake pad changes every 20k - they have been thrashed!
Image
Still turns heads, however tossers in baseball caps are now driving Kev Jap imports, so may have to upgade to an Audi A4 or S4 soon.
Comfort
Fine if you don't mind the hard ride. I love the bucket seats, but my wife isn't so keen.

Security and Service
Security
You need Cat1 alarm and immobiliser to get insurance. No attempted thefts/breakins yet...
Service
Some dealers are great - others not so reliable. Cross Country Vehicles in Witney, Oxon are superb (they do off-road motorsport themselves). Did not rate Lancaster Pangborne...
