What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Think its a good looking, head turning Rare Classic car, especially in Standard form and not pimped out.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes- as long as it has all receipts and service history. Its Japanese and won loads of rallye championships.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe a Lexus IS200 Sport/ or Legacy Diesel

Did you get a good deal and why?
I felt I got a very good deal, the car came immaculate with only 67000 miles and full service history. The car was also bog standard which was extremely rare and unmolested.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had always admired the CLASSIC MY00 shape impreza...also being one of the lightest imprezas made with great driveability and excellent reputation for reliability.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was helpful, yes, and quite knowledgeable.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent!!! I am a car dealer and driven lots of cars, very few if ANY compare to feel and driveability of the Subaru. I also had a Honda integra in the past which was immense, but i think the Impreza gives more feel and 4WD makes it more fun.
What's it like to park?
Its OK...a saloon that isn't designed for small town parking and spaces...but simple with good visibility

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
car has been great with only niggly issues (as to car being NOW 9 years old). The most common of which was a MAF Sensor which cost £92 from Subaru, simple to fit myself. The only other main issues are to keep an eye on the 4 pot brake calipers...make sure they are cleaned and degreased. Timing belt and Tensioner replacement is only other thing to keep an eye on- common for ANY car of this age.
What's most practical about your car?
Practicality is not essential for me, but 4 doors and decent boot is helpful.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Four wheel drive and Turbo is great, feels very safe and very quick car to drive (I have had two Type R's in past)
