Summary
What does this car say about you?
In standard form, finished in silver, it's fairly understated! It says i enjoy performance but i want a level of practicality.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends like it as they're in to their cars as well. Girlfriend likes it in the flesh, although thought it was ugly from initial photos. Work mates think it's an accident waiting to happen!
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, I'll fancy a change in a couple of years but it will be something similar.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'd like an Evo, or maybe something RWD. But it'll be Japanese and have 1 or 2 turbos.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,900
When did you buy the car?
October 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
I'm pleased with the price i paid, I traded my old car in on a PX and got £100 knocked off... I'm happy i found an unmolested version with relatively low miles.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I'm a bit of a petrol head and I love the AWD performance and practicality mash up of the Scooby.
What was the dealer like?
Great... Didn't pressure me, let me look over the car in peace and didn't mind me taking a decent test drive with a friend.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Different... Hydraulic steering and AWD make it feel very mechanical and you feel what the car is doing. It really pulls hard once you're on boost. The turbo lag can catch you out, but i personally don't mind. It makes you think about keeping it in the power band, turbo lag is just foreplay!
What's it like to park?
Easy, good visibility and seeing the spoiler through the rear window marks exactly where the back of the car is.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing in the few weeks I've had it. I did lots of research and read lots of buyer's guides so I'm happy that i've got a good example.
What's most practical about your car?
Huge boot, 4 doors good visibilty.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The seats are lovely, really hold you in place. And the one-piece back looks great.
