Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says you're not so fussed about looks - you just like the silly performance. A lot of people say "boy racer's car" but I don't think so - boy racers can't afford the insurance for a new age. It's like my personality - a bit on the edge.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Surprisingly most are very envious. Some take the mick and call me a chav which is somewhat inevitable, but others love the car and generally it gets a lot of envious looks from other guys who clearly want one but were denied by the wife!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes and no. I'd buy an STI - just because I want it to go faster! Ultimately I'd recommend a prodrive version - you HAVE to appreciate the unequal manifold by getting a proper aftermarket exhaust; the only slight annoyance is the turbo lag.
What are you likely to buy next?
If I had to replace it and money was no object, a Mazda RX7 or an Impreza WR1. Maybe an Impreza STI. Will probably keep this one for a bit unless the government decide to be even more theiving tax and petrol wise!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Awesome. People see you coming in their rear view mirror and move aside, be it on the motorway, a dual carriageway, etc. Acceleration is great. Clutch is pretty hard work at low speeds around town - much heavier than a standard family car.
What's it like to park?
Not a problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
One rattle which the dealer hasn't fixed but the dealer still gave me confidence when they serviced it.
What's most practical about your car?
It's a 4 door saloon - very practical given the performance aspect.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The turbo!
