it reflects me, loud and fun! it represents everything i love about Japanese performance cars!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My brother loves it, as do many of my friends, alot of people think they are ugly, whereas some think its muscular or beautiful, mixed views really! my mum and nan think its lovely looking but far too loud!! my neighbours probably think the same! it has a blitz nur spec r cat back with a hayward and scott double decat downpipe! very loud!! one of the loudest systems! The Car sounds orchestral, with the high pitch whining/singing of the gears the whistling turbo as it spools up, and the bass from the exhaust changing as the revs increase, tis beautiful! harmonious even!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, I'd buy a Japanese import though as they are lighter, faster, better components and higher revving.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, i managed to haggle him down, i told him i wanted new floor mats and the Subaru World Rally Team (SWRT) keyring i'd seen in their display cabinet, which at first he claimed, a £40 keyring, i said cheap enough to let it go with my car then!!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I love fast Japanese performance cars!

What was the dealer like?

At first i got the impression he thought i was just a dreamer/time waster, as i was only 22 and i do look very young for my age. When i went for a test drive i took my grandad along, this time they took me more seriously!

What's it like to drive?

amazing! hard to get used to at first, but fast and rewarding!!! important to master heal and toe techniques too!

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, i've had battery problems, x2 3rd gears have been blown up, (gearbox) x2 Clutches. Thousands of pounds worth After owning an ep3 civic type r 04 reg, i found the wrx to be bigger and less nimble than the type r, not just speed but handling too, the type r, although front wheel drive had excellent balance and was confidence inspiring, the wrx at high speeds felt unstable and in bends it had horrible body roll. Firstly i got a stage one tuning on car, which consisted of a 3" straight through exhaust, decatted, with a sti drop in panel filter and remapped to 300bhp. Soon after i bought stage two handling, which consisted of uprated front and rear sway bars and uprated droplinks, and an anti lift kit, which promotes better turn in and stops body roll.

size, four doors, pretty much everything except juicy on fuel!

anti lift kit, uprated drop links and swaybars, no more body roll and excellent turn in, turbo power too! i love the noise it makes
