What does this car say about you?

This WRX SL version is a more modest & understated car (which is maybe what it say's about you?) than the usual blue livery with gold wheels versions that you find, (nothing wrong with them I might add) apart from the giveaway air intake & rear wing, it just looks like any other saloon until you give it the beans,.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

A mixture of love it and pure envy! They all wanted one!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Oh my yes, though possibly as a second car due to running costs.

What are you likely to buy next?

A sports saloon though something more economical!

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a relatively good deal, the dealer offered me a good trade in on my old BMW, I believe they were struggling to move the cars due to the downturn in business as this was the start of the recession, i think they were just happy to sell whatever they could?

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Legendary sporty car!

They were fine, very friendly & accommodating.

What's it like to drive?

Absolutely Fantastic! This car will put a grin on your face on a daily basis! Go's like a stabbed rat, corners brilliantly, it's a little easier to live with day to day rather than the bigger & noisier STI version, it's never going to match that performance but it's no slouch itself and can hold its own against most other road users. You don't buy this car for the practicality though but bear in mind the running costs, they are heavy, tax, insurance & fuel economy do reflect the performance especially if you're going to use it as your only car.

Easy enough!

Have you had any problems with the car?

The ECU unit (i think that what it was?!) gave up on me leaving me stranded for a couple of hours whilst waiting for breakdown truck to rescue me, the outer body steel is also paper thin, the slightest pressure and you'll have a dent which i had loads, other than that all good!

What's most practical about your car?

It's a four door saloon so it's as practical as you need it to be, obviously though it was brought for the performance aspect, which was just sublime, so the boot space, air con, leather seats etc. was just a bonus.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It has to be the air intake scoop on the bonnet, pure childish aspirations but it put a huge smile on my face!
