Subaru Legacy Estate 2.0 MPFi GLS 5d (1997/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Only paid £2000 for this 'R' plate, an absolute snip.
Costs
Don't know yet, but a full service, clutch and cam belt by the previous owner set him back nearly a £1000 including labour. Only £350 for parts though.

On the road
Driving
It's a bit woolly on cornering at speed, but the grunt and performance of the engine is great.
Performance
The 2.0 litre engine is a whiz. Pulls all the way to the red line, absolutely cracking.

Living with it
Reliability
Not had it long, buts its got 100,000 on the clock and still feels like new
Image
Not the best image, a bit of a 'country doctors' car image. Alloy wheels would bring it more up to date
Comfort
Have no complaints so far. Very roomy.

Security and Service
Security
Don't know, but doesn't look too secure.
