Subaru Legacy Estate 2.0 MPFi GLS 5d (1997/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Paid £8750 for a proven Subaru ( with extended warranty) August 2001. An model without a warranty was offered at £7750 and was better value, but we missed it by 15 minutes.
Costs
Too early to say.

On the road
Driving
Very smooth and agreeable except for notchy gearbox.
Performance
Enough power to overtake anything if you want to. Soft suspension gives good ride but can't handle high speed cornering. Brakes fade during the last 20mph of a crash stop from 70mph, which is bad.
