Subaru Legacy Saloon 2.0 4 Cam Turbo 4d (1993/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Great value for money. A lot cheaper than an Impreza due to anonymous image.
Costs
30mpg is the norm if driven sensibly. Dealer parts and service charges can damage the health of your wallet!

On the road
Driving
Great handling and grip due to 4wd. Never feels anything but rock solid.
Performance
Pulls all the way up through the revs. Very rapid when called upon. Very able motorway mile-muncher.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems so far. I've done 30k miles in 18 months. It's done 170k now and still feels solid. Bit of wind noise due to worn rubber seals on front windows. Mechanically indestructable!
Image
Everybody thinks it's a Rover! What do they know? No Rover could keep up with this!
Comfort
All the creature comforts apart from air con. It is 10 years old!
