Subaru Legacy Saloon (2003 - 2010) 2.0 REn 4d Auto Owner Review

In their own words
WOW, I didn't realise this car is so good. I looked around at numerous other cars like the Saab 93, Audi A4, BMW 3 series. Yes they were all decent cars but hmmmm didn't quite float my boat and then I saw a used Legacy and thought it was worth a look. Drove it and WOW, I have never known a more amazing drive. It was instant love at first drive. I think all those BMW, Audi and Saab drivers are feeling sooooo left out. My car with it's amazing low centre of gravity and it's AWD handles like nothing else on the roads. If you don't at least try one then you're seriously missing out. Ok as a petrol engine it's not the most frugal car, and if something breaks then yes it'll be a little pricey but it's a Subaru and they are legendary for their reliability. The flot 4 boxer engine makes such a gorgeous growl and produces almost diesel like torque. Fabulously put together, most of the plastics feel of a good quality. Built in sat mav is excellent, Audio system is amazing with no distortion from the speakers. I'm not sure why I've overlooked Subaru before but now that I've discovered the delights of that boxer engine I will be using them for a damn good while yet. The beauty of this car is it'll blow all the others away without looking like a giant killer. Proper Q car looks, discrete and subtle styling and underneath that bonnet there is a beauty of an engine just waiting to spring to life. I have owned many many cars over the years and driven many others as courtesy cars and test drives but Subaru ownership can and will make you feel delightfully smug in the fact that by going against the flow of the mainstream you're driving a complete underdog with a savage bite with it's driving experience.
