When did you buy the car?
April 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Subaru quality/reliability combined with diesel. At last!
What was the dealer like?
Helpful all through the sales process. Less than 800 miles and stress fracture appeared on windscreen. Subaru UK not interested as they've never heard of it happening before and said it must be due to stone chip (its not!!) Technician removing windscreen could find no evidence of impact on screen. Nice product let down by Subarus total lack of interest in customer care, still waiting for them to return a phone call.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very comfortable cruiser, has very respectable performance and that diesel engine is the most refined I've experienced. Handles well despite the raised suspension.
What's it like to park?
Easy with rear parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not yet and not expecting it to. Update: stress fracture to windscreen in less than 800 miles, all tyres greatly over inflated at dealers (over 40psi instead of 29-30). So much for pre delivery checks...
What's most practical about your car?
Decent carrying capacity, and self leveling suspension.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Nice big sunroof.
