Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, because Subaru make practical 4x4s, that said I still haven't got my head around the new shape version.

Not at all bad considering the rarity, costs not too different to Mondeo/Passat.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
All weather/road and lugging capabilities of a proper 4x4 without being too costly to run.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly and helpful. A pleasure to buy from.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Comfortable on a variety of surfaces. Best driven smoothly as a family car rather than chucked about.
What's it like to park?
Not at all bad given the size. Parking sensors a help though.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Clutch! Which we put down to towing. Suspension knocking fixed under warrantee. Slow air-con leak. Battery.
What's most practical about your car?
Effortlessly lugging family plus gear on poor roads, gravel surfaces and fields in all weather.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Towbar makes the most of this car.
