Subaru Outback (2015 - 2021) 2.5i SE Premium Lineartronic auto 5d Owner Review

In their own words
We knew Subaru’s reliability by having owned a BRZ which gave us seven years trouble free motoring in Dubai, coping extremely well with the hot weather. On our return to the UK and planning to live in Devon, we decided that a Subaru Outback would be our next car. We bought the car from a Subaru dealership with only 3,800 miles. Since then we have driven another 1,000miles of mixed roads, from dual carriageway to narrow lanes. The car is perfect, a mix of comfort and sturdiness. It performs well even on windy roads and you feel completely secure while driving in heavy rain. The engine is powerful enough and overtaking isn,t a problem. We like the CVT gearbox. Changing gears is quiet and even in the economic mode there is enough acceleration. Instruments are well placed and the cabin feels solid and well put together. The multiple seats adjustments allow for various shapes and sizes to have a comfortable drive. As for petrol consumption, it is ok rather than exceptional but for a car of this weight and with the AWD, an average of 33.7mpg isn’t bad at all. Parking isn’t as bad as we thought despite the car length. The car is very manoeuvrable and the rear camera is a great bonus. As for room in the car, we found it to be impressive. We were able to fit our three cats with their oversize carriers and six piece of luggage and a large shopping without difficulty. Overall the Subaru Outback is an extremely well designed, practical and spacious car to drive. We are still learning about the car gadgets and safety kit. We have now added a removable towbar for added practicality. We love our Subaru and the service we received when we picked up the car. We hope to keep the car for many years to come.
