Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm not too sure really.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Em, they all seem to like its quirkiness, although when going on outings friends and family always seem to suggest we go in a different car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
If I could find another, then yes I most likely would.
What are you likely to buy next?
Mixed thoughts really. An old VW Golf, a Honda Legend, Alfa Romeo 166 are all top of the list at the moment.

Did you buy this car new?
No

£200

February 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a brilliant deal. A 1989 (website doesn't allow me to enter 1989, so had to enter 1987) Suzuki Alto with 12,000 - TWELVE THOUSAND - miles on the clock. 1 owner from new, with full service history for €200 (Ireland).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was a cheap, and very cool (in my opinion) little car.
What was the dealer like?
N/A

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Coming from a 1960 Morris Minor, so I'm used to how it drives differently compared to modern cars. Not a rocket ship, but 'nippy'.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park. Although the lack of power steering might be a challenge for some people.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Clutch failed, although I bought the car knowing it was going to fail. Got the clutch relined for €50, and fitted it myself in a few hours. Nothing else has gone wrong.
What's most practical about your car?
Its frugality. €10 could do for a whole week in fuel. Its cheap to tax, insure and maintain. It can keep up with modern traffic in town with no problems.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Not a whole lot of gadgets or options. The dashboard layout is cool, as are the vinyl and tartan seats!
