Suzuki Alto 1.0 GL 3d (2000/X) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Bought this car for £4550 in Nov 2000, the cheapest new car on the road...who can fault it at that price?
Costs
Not had to buy a lot for this car, servicing is so cheap and at 9000m intervals.

On the road
Driving
Fast and fun to drive, very entertaining. Can feel a little lightweight on the road but you soon get used to that. It is tiny after all.
Performance
Mines the 16v engine, it goes like crazy but you need to work it hard to get the best out of it but that does not seem to effect economy.

Living with it
Reliability
This car has never been a bit of bother, what else can I say? I love it.
Image
Zero image but I didn't buy it with that in mind.
Comfort
The seats are basic but very comfy even on a long journey. The interior is plasticy but the seat fabrics are much improved lately.

Security and Service
Security
I doubt anyone would want to steal this car but I imagine it wouldn't be difficult. The factory fit immobiliser is a bonus and a Deterrent.
