Suzuki Alto (2009 - 2014) 1.0 SZ 5d Owner Review

Purchased from John Banks Suzuki in Ipswich. One previous elderly owner for 5 years who drove it for only 2,000 miles. In the 6 years since I've added 20,000 miles. I'm retired and this is very much a 2nd car used mainly for local journeys although in 2022 I took it from Suffolk to Wiltshire and back in 3 and half hours driving time each way which I did non stop. Yes it is a basic no frills car but that said it's way better than a 1 litre Mini City E I owned in 1988. The little Alto is totally dependable and thrives on just basic servicing. Last year I replaced the battery, the original was getting a little tired and two years I ago I replaced a rear brake light bulb. I'm 6 feet tall and find the driving position very comfortable. I hope to carry on with this car for as long as possible and have no desire to own an EV.
