Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I use my head when buying a car - rather than aspire to spend 10k more just for a spongy leather style dashboard and a germanic badge.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it. Cannot believe how much you get for the money.
Would you buy this car again and why?
We'll see.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure, but i'm starting to like what you can now get new for 6k - cars in this price bracket have been getting better over the last few years.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£5,800
When did you buy the car?
September 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I think so. £5800 brand new with an old trade in. Special edition came with aircon, MP3CD, electric windows, RCL, ABS, EBD, brake assist, SE trim, 4 x airbags, front fogs. For the same price at a bmw dealer you might be able to buy some alloys.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed a car that cost peanuts to buy and run. Plus I've had small 3 cylinder cars before and like them.
What was the dealer like?
Friendly, open to doing a deal. Made nice coffee

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Likes to be revved, but gets up to speed well and is very quiet at cruising speeds. Ride is very good - not crashy at all. Grips well and doesn't lean much in bends. Very easy to drive. The gearbox is the most flexable on any car i've driven and the brakes are excellent. A better drive than my old 107 for sure.
What's it like to park?
Easy. Good rear vision and light steering.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not yet but still quite new. Being a suzuki I expect the engine/mechanicals to be reliable. Feels well screwed together
What's most practical about your car?
The size. Forget the city car tag - this is a proper 5 door hatch that will seat 4 in comfort. This is no smart car. We even keep a child seat in the rear and a pram in the boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Aircon and CD
