Suzuki Celerio (2015 - 2019) 1.0 SZ2 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I bought this car bcause I wanted a new cheap car for varying short journeys. I loked at the Picanto and Sandero but dismised them both as the Celerio had a dab radio and looked better finished. The interior is ok but plasticky and there's no spare wheel(£219 if you want one!) It's the engine whihc really disapoints. If I was being kind I would call it honest. But in reality it's pretty gutless. Once you've built up some speed it's fine, but when you lose that speed it takes for ever and several gear shifts to get it back up to speed. In all honesty next time I consider a 3 cyclinder 1 litre car I'll probably get one with a turbo which makes all the difference. I guess for a 'city' type car you can't expect much, but the gutless engine and quite excess road and wind noise do spoil it for me. The Picanto is a better finish and less noisy, but no DAB radio and the Sandero I felt was till too risky as a brand to spend nearly 8k on!. I am happy with my new car but as I said wish the engine had a turbo and the noise was not an issue.
