Suzuki Celerio (2015 - 2019) 1.0 SZ3 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
It's a budget car first and foremost, so this is worth remembering. I use a car very little, so the zero RFL (pre April 2017, £155 thereafter) and mega cheap insurance are important when the car spends a lot of time on the drive and very little time on the road. True, the build quality isn't the best in the world, but it is totally unfair for critical reviewers to compare it to a car which costs several thousands more to buy when new. You should know what you're buying before you part with a single penny, unless you are a reviewer who has never owned one, but has had one as a courtesy car, in which case you are totally unqualified to post a review. Mine is an SZ3, so above the standard SZ2 model which comes with a DAB stereo with USB, central locking, power steering and split rear seats mine has alloy wheels, Bluetooth for additional music, hands free phone usage and air-conditioning. It is also VERY economical on fuel, a minimum of 50 MPG is easily achieved and the engineering is second to none, it is very comfortable, smooth for what it is, but as it is a three cylinder one litre, don't expect rocket-ship performance. It also has a genuine five seat layout with five three-point seat belts (unusual for this class) and a large boot, made even bigger by folding the rear seats. It is what it is, pay considerably more for a lesser car with a VW or a Toyota badge, but don't compare it to either when it costs considerably less. Before I bought this car, I looked at plenty of others, but for my budget, a higher mileage 2009-2012 car other than the 2016 Celerio was the best I could get. I paid just £4000 for a car which is 'as new', has had just one owner, has a full main dealer service history and costs less to run than a moped. If you are looking for a very reliable and economical car look no further, but if you are a badge snob who cares more about appearances, look elsewhere.
