Suzuki Grand Vitara Soft top (1999 - 2003) 1.6 GV1600 Sport 2d Owner Review

I bought this car as a second car with the intention of using it for taking my dog to go on hill walks etc. As my first car was a BMW at the time it was also my insurance that I could get to work when the snow came. The Vitara Sport has a soft top therefore it can provide open top driving during sunny weather albeit without the performance that normally accompanies wind in your hair cars. Spares are still readily available and cheap. I would recommend anyone who is considering buying an older 4x4 such as a Jeep Wrangler or Discovery to put the cost effective and reliable Suzuki GV 1600 at the top of their list and put the price difference in the bank to cover running costs.
