Summary
What does this car say about you?
No idea. My husband calls it the Pope-Mobile, but it's more reliable than his car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I don't know, although someone did say it looks good.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Maybe, although I do quite fancy a Honda CRV. Still, this has been quite good to me so far and passed my MOT just a few weeks ago with flying colours - the mechanic says it's a nice car!
What are you likely to buy next?
I really don't know until the time comes.
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,700
When did you buy the car?
September 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
They put the car up as a "sale" item and reduced it by £300.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I was looking for a possible crossover car which could handle the potholes on the track near home, plus wasn't expensive to run.
What was the dealer like?
A bit cocky.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's actually quite nippy. It's comfortable for me and I do suffer with backache quite often, but never in the car. It does manage the terrible track which I have to drive down to get home and it gets through snow OK - just have to be careful on ice.
What's it like to park?
No problem at all.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The clutch cable snapped and I can't get the air con to work properly. One thing about these cars is that the headlights aren't very powerful. Oh, the rear screen wash doesn't work now and I can't get at it as you have to remove the front side panel.
What's most practical about your car?
I find it comfortable to drive. I get 250 miles from around £42 of petrol.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
It doesn't have any gadgets as such, but I do like the car.
