No Euro NCAP rating, but four airbags are standard as well as active front head restraints, and ABS comes with electronic brake force distribution. Front seatbelts have pre-tensioners which tighten before an accident, and ISOFIX child seat fittings are also standard. No alarm, though, just an immobiliser.

Spacious for four adults and decent boot space. The rear bench is split 60/40, and there are the usual door pockets with bottle holders, cup holders, under-dash storage, a seat-back pocket and storage tray under the front passenger seat. The luggage area is 665mm long and 1119mm wide with the rear seats in place, and offers more than 1000 litres of storage with the rear seats folded.
