Pros & cons
PROS
Lively 1.3-litre engine, nimble handling
CONS
Poor quality interior
Suzuki Ignis Hatchback (00-04) rivals
Overview
This chunky and tall supermini is great in town thanks to a high driving position, light controls and standard power steering. The peppy 1.3-litre engine is fun and frugal and should benefit from Suzuki’s proven reliability. It’s only let down by a cheap-looking interior trim and a slightly harsh ride.
