Suzuki Ignis SUV 1.2 Dualjet+SHVS SZ5 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I love how easy it is to live with in a small town with narrow roads. Its easy to park and you'll never fail to find a space it can fit into. It can seat 4 people in comfort, the legroom is generous for all occupants. 60MPG on a mix of fast and slower roads.
I love the iconic look. Just look at it and tell me how many cars look the same. Against the sea of bland bloated cars on the road today It really stands out.
If you are a family of 3-4 and this is your only car you may struggle space-wise but it'd make an ideal 2nd car. If you're driving most of the time 1-2 people this car should be more than spacious enough.
My main bug with this car is the Pioneer touchscreen system. What a steaming pile of ---- that unit is. Why Suzuki didn't spend a little more building a custom Suzuki system is beyond me. It's been nothing but problems since day 1 and I've been through 2 different units in 12 months.
How reliable do you find the car?
The car is well-built and seems to be pretty robust in line with what you would expect from Suzuki. But, it is let down by the crappy touchscreen head unit from Pioneer. I have had my car in the garage 3 times since buying to have the blasted pioneer unit repaired and replaced and then the replacement unit freaked out a few months later. Replaced the second broken Pioneer with a Bosch unit finally and so far so good.
